Astina Gallery is owned and operated by Ida Bagus Anom Suryawan, an internationally recognized Balinese wood carver, mask maker, mask dancer and puppeteer. The gallery is located within Anom's family compound and home in Mas, Ubud, Bali, where Anom first learned to carve at the age of nine alongside his uncle. Now an internationally acclaimed artist, Anom's work has been featured in exhibitions in Santa Fe, NM and San Francisco, and several masks are included in the San Francisco Asian Art Museum's 2011 Bali Exhibition.
